Check, Please is Heartstopper on ice! The creators, writer James Tynion IV and artist Rian Sygh said that they wanted to create a story that smashed the conventions of the “gay best friend” and instead show a story that showed kids from the LGBTQ community thriving and being accepted by their peers.
Whilst the comic is non-stop action and filled with hilarious zingers, it is about growing up, friendship, and following your passions.
