  • Gershwins: Situated on Granby Street in Norfolk, Gershwins is a piano bar that offers a mix of live music, cocktails, and a warm ambiance.
  • 37th & Zen: A local favorite for delicious food, Live Music and Entertainment.

    May and early June give you warm days before the heavy humidity hits, and you can catch Pride programming.

    Late spring and fall are the sweet spots. The Hershee Bar's spirit lives on in the community, and efforts have been ongoing to revive it.

  • The Rainbow Cactus Company: Although technically located in Virginia Beach, this venue is well worth the short drive from Norfolk.

      The bar had to close its doors in 2018 due to a lease termination, but it still holds a special place in the local lgbtq+Q+ community's hearts. You get walkable neighborhoods, a solid food scene, and a lot to do around the waterfront and Downtown without needing a car the whole time.
