Better to be honest and forthright sooner rather than later. Silence is both a sign of respect and that they are processing a change in their knowledge of you.

Dad’s mindset is a roll of the genetic dice. In all cases, the person has found the story good enough and wants to share it, so here they are.

1. Jeremy's Tale - A teen in the early sixties who comes to find through taking swimming lessons that being a homosexual isn't as bad as he's been taught.   series

2. Nathan's Tale - Nathan, thirteen, finds out how much fun it is to mess around with his two cousins.

   Do not confuse their love for you with their expectation of their daughter and son. My mind was in Granddaddy King mode but, the more I watched, the more I felt the real essay this evening was not about an ambiguous grandfather but ambiguous, concealed love and affection. Some people make much of the fact that there are Black Lesbian communities.

3. Mike and the wrestling coach - Mike wasn't sure he was the athletic type, but the wrestling coach is sure interested in spending some time with him.

4. I Needed A Jump - After the show at the school's student union, this sixteen-year-old had a dead battery. First his best friends' life changes forever, then his own.

   The person he wants to better understand is his daughter who has not written a book as of yet.

   In an honest moment a year or two ago, the Dad’s daughter shared that several young cousins were gay. Suppose Mom has a severe preconception of her daughter as a straight young woman. A different story of sorts, and not all that pleasant. He understood the souls of Gay folks better but can one book capture the nuance and complexity of an entire group of people?

   Answer your parents’ questions. Mom and Dad are not dense and behind the times like me/smile. It is a badge of honor to have a gay child in some circles. It started with Fred's Story, and soon, more readers wanted to tell their stories.

   So, now after several have been told, and more are being worked on, I've put together this area to have them all together.

   Some are short, some longer, but all are straight from the person who's story it tells.

   

   As my wife watched the television show Cold Case, she asked me to watch the episode A Time to Hate. It was cold, late, and he needed a jump.
